Intake Valve 270-33401-03

If you have a torque wrench and feeler guage use them as you do the tear-down and reassembly. Remove the rocker cover from the cylinder head. Loosen the adjusting bolts on the rocker arms. Pull out the rocker shaft from the intake side of the cylinder head. Mark rocker arms and push rod, so the can be reinstalled in their original positions. Remove the push rods from the cylinder. Remove the cylinder head and gasket. Be careful not to damage the gasket. Or you can order a new one. Press down spring retainer and slide it to
release from the groove of valve stem, then remove spring retainer and valve spring. Remove the intake and exhaust valves from the cylinder head. Remove the burnt intake valve. Clean the carbon from the valve set, ports and guides. Install the intake valve and the valve stems and insert them into the valve guide. Place the the cylinder head on a flat surface, install the washer, valve spring and spring retainer.
Clearance between the the rocker arm and and valve stem 0.0034-0.0045
Cylinder head bolts 24.6-30.4 ft lbs torque.
