This is an authentic Char-Broil replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with outdoor grills. The ignitor kit is used to create an electric arc at the burner tube which lights the fuel that is emitted by the burners. This kit includes the mounting bracket, ignitor switch, electrode, and the wire.

Timely part arrival; However, There was NO video on replacing tHis part on THIS model; Alas --- hidden screws that I figured out & got it done; As a retired sales manager let me say; Customer Service is DEAD !! But, You Guys TRy! Now, I need a quote on a burner for this model % and a igniter button ONLY! I noticed that one of your competitors sells igniter buttons ONLY. yHANKS FOR YOUR HELP;
Parts arrival was timely; Let me say as an ex sales Mngr. that CUSTOMER SERVICE is DEAD!!! You guys try. However; you did not have a video on replacing this part on my model; there were HIDDEN screws that I figured out & got it done. Moving along; Aburner is damaged & I would appreciate a quote on one, plus; the only thing bad on the original igniter was the actuater button; IT had disintegrated, so, I also would like a quote on the button only. I noticed that one of your competitors sells buttons only. Thanks for your help; Bob

1. Removed grill grates to access burners and burner brace.
2. Used screwdriver and adjustable to remove burner brace
3. Installed new burner brace and three new burners
4. Replaced grill grates
5. Removed screws on sides of front panel to access ignitor and wires
6. Remove large nut to push ignitor thru panel and disconnect wires
7. Installed new ignitor and wires
8. Tighten large plastic nut
9. Push panel back into place and replaced screws on side of panel
10. Ready to grill after installing grease pan

Removed the existing ignitor
Replaced with new ignitor
No special instructions need a socket set and cross point screwdriver to remove original ignitor. Took less than 15 minutes to remove original and install new ignitor. Perfect fit no problems. Install AA battery
