    1. Remove 3 Post Screws on left L.S. Plate Assembly
    2. Lift Plate slowly. The Worm and Worm Shield are not connected and will come out
    3. Remove Click Sling Screw and lift Click Spring. You can now remove Idle Gear.
    4. Assemble now in opposite order starting with Idle Gear.
    5. You may have to play with Worm and Worm Shield, but don’t force or you may bend one of four nipples on Worm Cover.
    6. Screw 3 Post Screws tight enough so that reel is sturdy enough to rotate Handle.
    7. Important! Ensure tip on Line Guide sits in Slotted Post and moves freely from left to right and back without any hesitation. This will ensure fishing line is evenly distributed on Spool Assemble.
    8. Lastly, if need be, adjust L.S. Bearing so that reel Handle can rotate without any friction.

Full tear down, everything cleaned out or replaced. Was a sentimental reel owned by a grandfather who has passed. It was a pleasure to give his grandson back the reel he was taught with.
