(The spring on the starter pulley was ok).
Very hard to crank and would not idle. Hub on the starter wore out and would not engage. Muffler assembly would come off when sawing for any length of time.

On the muffler, I had to order a new back plate because the chain mangled it when the muffler fell off. I just ordered the whole kit, and bought some red thread locker for the bolts. Seems to be working so far.
