Replace trimmer head and fuel tank
Removed air filter cover. Used small needle nose pliers to slip in behind the fuel tubing and slip it off the hose nipples. The pressure against the end of the tubing caused it to expand slightly and slip off the nipples relatively easily. Loosened the four torx screws on the end of the trimmer enough that the housing would tilt back sufficient to allow the tank to slip free. I took a photo of the hose position before removing so I could be sure I replaced them back on the correct nipples.

Replacing the housing with eyelets on the trimmer head was very straight forward. Simply remove the housing cover like you were replacing the trimmer string and use a 1/2" end wrench to loosen the hex bolt. With the bolt removed the housing slips off the shaft easily.

Housing and eyelets plum wore out!
Had to insert an awl into a hole at top of housing to stop the shaft from rotating, and then used a crescent wrench to loosen the bolt that holds the housing in place. Swap housings and tighten up, easy peezy!

The line advance button was worn away.
Pressed the two tabs inward and pulled the black ring from the hub. Inserted the new button in the line reel and re-installed the black retaining ring.
Repair complete.
The rest of the parts will be installed onto my other weed eater as a complete unit. These hub assemblies are the easiest to re-string of any that I have ever used.
