This is a clear plastic water tank for a humidifier. The water tank is what holds the water needed to provide moisture to the room. The tank is easy to remove, just simply lift it up and out of place. When filling it with water, turn it upside down and twist off the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise, now fill the tank with water. This tank can hold about one gallon of water at a time. Return the tank to the base and turn the unit on to begin. It is extremely important to keep this water tank clean and remove all water when the humidifier is not in use.
