    Air leak in nail gun
I replaced this head seal and fixed my problem
    Guest - June 7, 2022 Verified Purchase
    Worked as expected
My nailer started leaking air, I removed the cover and found the head valve seal was cracked and brittle. I searched this site for the replacement part and found it. The other reviews described my exact problem, I ordered the part, it came a day earlier than I expected, I installed the part, replaced the cover and the nailer worked perfect.

    Super easy repair
Saw some gasket repair kits on other sites which almost exceeded the price of a new tool “e replacement parts “ had the problematic part sold individually. I love fixing things in this throw away world and love this company.

    , Hex head allen wrench

Unscrew the 4 Allen bolts from the top of the nail gun. The offending part, a seal, was directly under the cap and the original one had deteriorated to the point it was in pieces. I removed all the pieces, cleaned up the entire area and replaced the seal with the new one. Then it was just a matter of putting the head back on and securing it with the 4 Allen bolts. Plugged it into the air hose and all was right with the world once again. Total time------maybe 15 minutes and easy as pie.

The piston stop had hardened and crumbled. I removed the top of the gun by removing the four hex screws. Then the top of the gun comes off and you can take out the piston stop. I also replaced the head valve seal because it is made out of the same kind of plastic. Pretty easy and now the gun works again.
