Would this fit onto the damper of Weber's Original Kettle Premium Charcoal Grill 22"?

Hello Andy, thank you for you question. There are two kits for your model. One is Handle Kit With Shield part 80672. This assembly is used on the lid of portable grills. It features a metal heat shield specially designed to block heat from the handle area. This assembly includes a wingnut-style socket for the bolts that attach the heat shield to the lid. The other is Handle Kit W/?Hooks part 80557. This part includes two handle components made of heat-resistant plastic, and hardware for attachment. This part is attached to the side of the grill bowl. I picked up a new Jumbo Joe for camping, and while searching for tips found there is a damper kit with a molded black handle. So I ordered one and installed it. It worked great! While I was at it, I also ordered just the black plastic handle for a full size Weber kettle I have. With a little coaxing, it pressed right on. Awesome upgrade

I purchased the Weber Kettle grill lid vent handle and epoxied it onto my WSM 22" top lid vent to protect my fingers from the hot lid.
