This is an original Porter Cable replacement part manufactured for use with nailers. The special grommet is used to seal the extra exhaust port on the cylinder cap. The grommet is held in place by a set screw, which is available separately. The grommet is sold individually.

Would just leak air out of vent. Not trigger , just vent.

Screwdriver, Power Drill, Allen wrench, some clean rags and a camera.

Clean surface, remove all 4x allen screws from back of nailer. There will be two internal setups. One for the spring and vent system and one for the plunger. The camera is to take a few snaps as you disassemble. This allows you yo clean all parts and insures. You put it back the same. I looked for anything out of ordinary and saw small crack on the parts I ordered
