This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement gear-finished which is designed for Milwaukee two speed hole hawq drills. It is an important part of the drive mechanism which rotates the chuck. Symptoms of a worn-out gear include lack of rotation at the spindle, loss of performance, or unusual "grinding" noises coming from the housing. If your gear-finished is worn or is damaged, this part will provide an identical replacement for the original component that was installed in the new unit. It is made of high-quality metal and is sold individually. Check the diagrams for your model to ensure the proper installation procedure. Note, you will need a screwdriver, a wrench set, and pliers to perform this repair.
