1 Remove and clean fuel tank shield from trimmer.
2 Remove and clean fuel tank from trimmer.
3 Disconnect fuel lines from carburetor. (Note position of 3 fuel lines)
4 Remove fuel pipe assembly from fuel tank (It's a force fit in the fuel tank opening.).
5 Install fuel tank vent line and fuel filter on fuel pipe assembly.
6 Coat the surface of fuel pipe assembly that slips into fuel tank opening with light coating of silicon grease.
7 Press fuel pipe assembly into position in fuel tank opening.
8 Connect fuel lines to carburetor and fuel tank vent.
9 Install fuel tank and fuel tank shield on trimmer.
10 Prime per manufacturer's instructions and trimmer started on second pull.
