Removed float bowl and replaced gasket and seal

Gasoline was getting into the engine block and hydro locked the cylinder

Remove carburetor, disassemble it, clean all internal parts with carb cleaner and blow out all ports with compressed air. Reassemble the carb with new float needle and bowl seal. Drain motor oil and replace with fresh oil. Since the oil had a quart of gasoline in it. I will change the oil again after 5 hours of use.

White smoke. Engine knocked and stalled. Crankcase filled with fuel.

1. Removed carburetor.
2. Unscrewed bell to expose float and needle valve.
3. Removed float by sliding out pin.
4. Removed needle valve.
5. Removed brass seat by tapping with 1/4" tap, inserting bolt, and pulling out with press.
6. Lightly tapped in new seat.
7. Replaced needle valve, float and bell gasket.
8. Reinstalled bell.
9. Reinstalled carburetor.

carburetor leaking gas into crankcase

remove carburetor and float bowl and float and needle valve tap inside of seat in carburetor with a 1/4 twenty tap then threaded bolt in and then pulled out old seat and then tapped in new seat with a punch until it hits home at bottom reassemble carburetor and put back on engine

The engine engine bent the intake push rod . did not know why.

disassemble the cooling shields remove the carb. and the muffler .
pulled the head off to see what was in the engine to bent the rod .
seen nothing to bent the rod cleaned off the carbon from the piston .
clean surfaces and re assemble the engine .
working perfectly now .

Needle in carbarator not shuting of gas. rubber tip old

removed carburetor, removed bowel, float and needle. Replaced needle on float put bowel back on and put carburetor back on engine

Exact fit

I had tried to find this part at a local hardware store that is well known for stocking a wide range of lawnmower parts. But, to no avail. They stocked the original part, but not in the size I needed. I tried to substitute an o-ring. They didn't have an exact fit. I tried purchasing some gasket material to make my own. That turned out to be a disaster. Nothing but the original part was going to work. I tried Amazon. They didn't have it. With a little more research, I found your website.
