it was missing the flange, and I needed to replace the brushes

removed old brushes, and replaced them with new, and installed the new flange so I could tighten the disk in place

Wire to two of the brushes were broken

Pretty self explanatory. Only thing caught me off guard was you have to remove the armature completely to get to the two screws holding the brush assembly on.

I had lost the flange, and needed a new one to hold the blade in place. Easy Peasy.

1. Took off the outside nut,
2. Put on new flange.
3. Replaced the disc I was going to use.
4. Tightened the nut on top of the assembly.
5. The wrench is not always necessary, but nice to have when the assembly gets too tight. Well worth the money.
6.I bought an extra flange while I was at it, so I won't have any "down time" if I lose the first one.
