This is a high quality authentic Tanaka replacement part, not an aftermarket imitation. It is sourced from original equipment manufacturer for use with gas powered equipment. The purpose of it is to filter out dust and other debris from contaminating the carburetor. It will get clogged over time restricting the fuel flow, at this point it should be replaced. It is made from metal with a fabric filter material and it is sold individually.

Parts Used
1. Removed Gas line and over flow line from carburetor
2. Removed old Rubber Pipe fuel line support holder from the fuel tank.
3. The gas line and the return gas line was reversed so I had to use the old gas line and I cut the return line.
4. Installed the gas line in the bottom of the pipe support holder and installed the new fuel filter.
5.Installed the pipe support holder in the top of fuel tank.
6. Reconnected the fuel line and the return line back on the carburetor.
