The most difficult part is disassembling the unit. The unit comes apart from the bottom. It is fastened by multiple screws that are not a standard head type, but can but can be turned using a small flathead screwdriver. There are two bolt like attachments that can be easily open using socket. Once the unit is opened, the drain tube is accessible.
