The gasket had popped out of the holder when the plastic spike holding it was bent to side. Couldn't find diagram/photo showing how it was assembled until I saw the replacement.

Simply put spring back on the plastic brew cap with spike. Insert back into holder & force spike through the tiny hole on the gasket which must be INSIDE the holder with double edge facing bottom of holder. Replacement not needed after laborious search to find one!
