The gasket had popped out of the holder when the plastic spike holding it was bent to side. Couldn't find diagram/photo showing how it was assembled until I saw the replacement.
Simply put spring back on the plastic brew cap with spike. Insert back into holder & force spike through the tiny hole on the gasket which must be INSIDE the holder with double edge facing bottom of holder. Replacement not needed after laborious search to find one!

Question: DGB-700FH Filter Holder Part Num...

carvout

All I want is the small black O ring to lock in the cap and spring on the bottom of filter basket. Why should I have to spend $20 for a 25 cent O ring.
I first lost the O ring, so I went to my local ACE Hdw. and found one, then while I was there I lost the spring...... so I also purchased a spring.... total cost about 90 cents. Put everything back together and made "two" pots of coffee.. works Purrrfect
