Correct parts, arrived timely. Unfortunately the saw had bigger problems and had to be junked.

Hard 1-2 hours (3 rated repairs)?

Saw started sparking from the armature pretty badly, then noticed the blade wobbled not from its attachment.

Shook the blade till I noticed where the movement was, which was at the bearing at the end of the field casing. Managed to finagle the whole motor, casing and all off the gearing and eventually got the casing off the armature and noticed the bearing was seized. its lack of movement caused the bearing casing to rub against where it was seated and rub and melt away the tight fit till it was loose, causing some slack action. Pulled the bad bearing and replaced it with the new one, fit it all back into the new field casing and assembled it. works like new!

Bearing was ruined overheated the field case

    Difficulty

    Hard

    Time

    1-2 hours

    Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, Dremel metal cutoff wheel 1” diameter

Most difficult part was removing the bearing inner race because it was really stuck so cut it through diagonally with dremel cut off wheel carefully not to damage the shaft and pulled it away with pliers. All the rest went easy enough
