Hard 1-2 hours (1 rated repairs)?

The bearings were worn out on a Delta 40-440 24 inch scroll saw.

I removed the original bearings, the front bearings slid off with no problem. The rear bearing was stuck on there quite well. I ended up having to use a cement chisel to slowly press the bearing away from the oblong drive disc. Once I was able to push is far enough down the shaft I used a punch to push it the rest of the way. If you have access to a vise I would recommend clamping on the old bearing and using a punch to drive the shaft out of it. Install was easy, I just used a 1/2 deep well socket as a drive and lightly tapped the new bearings on. Thing runs like a song now.
