I converted my fairly new non bump head auto feed trimmer to a bump head which works much better
I pried off the old auto feed head and installed the new bump head. I split the motor housing and stood the motor on a solid surface so I could drive the replacement head on the shaft without risking damaging the motor bearings. All of the new parts were a perfect fit and it works well.
