Product Description ?

It is an authentic item which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Kirby vacuums. The fan is an important component that produces the airflow. It is an identical replacement for a damaged or a missing part that was installed on a new unit. Make sure to check the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, one durable plastic fan and the hardware to secure it are included. A wrench set and a screwdriver will be needed to perform this repair.

    Fan broke into pieces when a rock was vacuumed up.

    Removed the bag an handle then removed the roller brush. Removed the screws from the fan housing and separated the housing body halves. Removed the right hand threaded belt rod/ fan shaft then repeated the process in reverse order with the new parts.

    Plastic fan was broken. All the blades were broken off fan. Watched video on urube

    Vacuum sucked up coin and damaged fan blade

    Dissembled vacuum body to expose fan blade
    removed damaged fan blade
    replace new parts provided
    reassemble vacuum body
    Test
    found a similar model on YouTube for reference.

    Fan broke and headlight was burned out

    Watched the video on how to repair part - very helpful.
    1. Removed screws holding housing assembly. 1 screw was difficult to remove - had to drill out head. Also removed vacuum bag.
    2. Removed old fan blade,
    3. Replaced fan blade
    4. Reassembled housing.
    5. Removed screws on headlight cover
    6. Removed burned out headlight
    7. Replaced with new headlight
    8. Reattached headlight cover
