    1 Unplugged old fan
    2 Removed screw securing mounting plate
    3 Removed mounting plate
    4 Detached fan from shaft ( this was hard - used penetrating oil and tapping with screwdriver
    5 Removed old motor - 2 screws
    6 Attached new motor
    7 Attached new fan blade, replaced unit in ceiling vent
    8 Plugged in and tested OK

    I took off the light cover and took the light bulb out of the socket which exposed a crown nut. I took the crown nut off Pulled the brackets out with the motor put my new parts in and everything work fine.

    Bath ventilation fan motor stopped working

    Removed fan grill, light bulb, reflector, fan motor bracket, and defective fan motor. Installed replacement motor and reassembled in reverse order. No instructions needed.
