Screwdriver, Pliers, t25 torx, block of wood
backpack ryobi blower starter cord and brass bushing in the housing for the rope
installed a block of wood to hold the back frame out enough to use the torx tool, to get at the screws lifted off the housing disassembled the spring and rope spool, needed to repair the spring / bend it flat to rewind it and reinstalled. put the bushing into the housing and found that it was loose, needed to flare the bushing so it wont fall out, i believe there is a tool to crush it so it will flare on the inside of the housing. reassembly and rope works fine. now the rope broke. needs a new housing due to the rope hole rubbed /cut into from bad oem bushing. now need to buy the whole housing

There should be a install memo that a tool is needed to round over the back side to match the outside design if you dont roll the inside/flare it you are going to cut the pull rope. my be the pull rope starter case should just be replaced
