Parts Used
Attempted to find a replacement on the internet, difficult since many models look much the same, the model numbers I had didn't match those I found. Finally used a picture and took a chance it was the correct one. You can actually order any of three parts, the air filter element itself, the foam part that is oiled and surrounds the paper element, as well as these two parts already assembled into one unit. Normally you would want to replace both as a unit which I did. Finally, filter maintenance is imperative if you want long life from a motor. This Kawasaki motor features both an air as well as a spin on oil filter and is just over 15 years old. It still runs just fine and I hope to get another 15 years from it.
