This part is compatible with the following machines:
2. Remove 5 Philips screws to remove panel and starter box.
3. Unplug wires
4. Remove and replace old button, box, and spark unit
5. Replug wires
6. Replace 5 screws for panel and box
8. Replace knob.
9. Fire it up.
the repair was simple just disconnect the wires, they slip off with a good tug, and dismounted the old faulty unit and mounted the new unit , connected the wires to the new unit and it works fine now.
it was very easy to repair, this just needed a Phillips screwdriver. The new unit looks to be a little better construction than the old one hope it lasts this time we will see.
The instructions call for removing the cover lid but I didn't do that and it went very well.
Removed grill and burner cover. Removed old igniter assembly and installed new one.
There was no need to remove BBQ cover or anything else as per instructions. It was one easiest part replacements I have ever done.
2, Disconnect igniter wiring & gas connection on manifold
3. Remove & replace manifold
4. Remove screws from end of burner tubes thus allowing removal & replacement of crossover tube.
