Product Description ?

This genuine replacement part that has been OEM sourced. The electrode is intended to be used with compact unit heaters from Mr. Heater and Heatstar. The electrode is used to create an electric arc on the burner and this ignites the fuel that is emitted by the burner. This is a single item, please note the wire and igniter are separate parts.

    Unit not starting. No ignition, no spark.

    Removed the igniter from the unit only to realize no current was flowing to the ignitor in the first place. Use a multimeter to test found no voltage there turns out it was a bad motherboard which I have ordered from ereplacementparts and will replace soon.

    Removed outer the panel, turned off the gas supply. removed the igniter. Installed the new igniter. Replaced the panel and started the heater. Worked fine.

    Remove side panel, shut LP valve, break LP line union for access, replace igniter, reverse order to finish.

    Unplugged heater and Took access panel off.
    Removed burner assembly.
    Cleaned burners.
    Removed parts that were bad while burners were out.
    Put burner assemble back in and checked all parts and screws were back in.
    Put side panel back on.
    Plugged in and tested heater.
    Ran perfect.
