Drive roller broke from shaft. Replaced drive roller with attached shaft. Had to remove gear off of old and fasten to new roller/shaft assembly.
Removed drive gear housing by removing a few screws. Pulled gear with broken shaft through to remove. Installed new roller/ shaft assembly with washers. Took gear/ key off of old shaft (had to remove snap ring). Placed gear/key on new shaft and installed snap ring. Used small pliers to affix key (very small part in tight space). After installing ,I packed with grease. Installed covers with screws. Worked like a charm.

Drive pulley had broken loose
Disassemble sander to remove broken drive pulley. Replace with new. Be sure to have extra lithium grease to replace what is lost in disassembly.
Note the order of the pulley, washer, key, gear, etc. as you remove the fmdrive pulley to reassemble with new parts. It will take longer to dis- and reassemble the unit than you'll spend in replacing the drive pulley.
