Noisy / bad drive motor

Removed old part
Took pics

Aligned the drive belt and treadmill rollers
Put cover’s back on

The treadmill motor was making grinding noises

Disconnected electric and sensor feeds. Removed old motor, bolted new motor into place. Repositioned drive belt and calibrated new motor. Was not a difficult installation.

Drive motor was making grinding noise

Once drive motor was pulled had to use hose clamps to wratchet in place. Older treadmill so some of the accompanied instructions did not apply. Alls good

Treadmill would not maintain speed when running on it.

1) Unplug treadmill
2) Removed the motor and control board housing.
3) Disconnected motor wires
4) Remove motor with mounting plate from treadmill
5) Remove mounting plate from motor
6) Attach mounting plate to new motor
7) Install new motor with mounting plate into treadmill
8) Reinstall motor and control board housing

You need to remove and replace the plastic housing. The removal and replacement of the motor was easy.
