Drive belt broke and tensioner spring was weak

I took off cover, replaced the belt, installed the new tension spring and screw, put cover back on and mowed the yard with no issues at all.

The Drive belt and the drive cable needed to be replaced.

1. I cleaned out the drive belt housing and pulleys.
2. I removed the old drive cable.
3. I installed the new drive belt.
4. I installed the new cable.
I just worked until I figured out how to go about each part of the work.

Cable was broken replaced drive belt

I took the old cable off and replaced it with the new one. I also had to remove the blade in order to access the drive belt. I replaced the drive belt with the new one I ordered and sharpened the blade while I had it off. lawn mover works like new now!!!!

Belt needed replace so replaced blade after 13 years

Pulled front cover put on stand. Took off blade. Put belt on then blade. Tighten tension on belt. Put cover back on took off stand. Started mower and mowed grass

1. Blade removed after disconnecting spark plug.
2. Drive shaft adapter removed and replaced.
3. Drive belt and associated upper/lower pulley parts replaced.
4. Replacement bolt and bell blade support used to secure mower blade.

Drive wheels no longer functioned

1. Remove front plastic wheel drive cover
2. Tip mower on side away from carb and remove blade and plastic shaft cover.
3. Remove old belt then the tension spring.
4. Install new tension spring and belt.
5. Replace covers and blade.

Drive belt replace, drive wheels replaced, trail shield replaced

Removed the mower blade,remove belt shield, removed belt and installed new belt ,compress spring to install the new belt, removed wheel nuts to remove and install new drive wheels. Then put trail shield on which was very easy. Slips on in grooves when you remove the old one.

Baffle was trashed so I decided to replace belt while I was at it

Just removed the mower blade, then baffle and clip.
Had to remove the front deck cover (two screws) to get to the belt.
Put belt on, then secured the baffle with clip, then deck cover, then blade.
