This is a genuine item which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Whirlpool Dryers. The drum belt attaches to the motor pulley and spins the drum as the motor rotates. If your dryer is screeching, whining and makes noise as it tumbles or the belt is broken and will not tumble then you will need to replace the multi rib belt. You will need a 5/16 nut driver and a putty knife to replace the multi rib belt

Dryer drum guide wheels were totally worn as was the tensioner pulley on the belt

Disassembled the front of the dryer, pulled the dryer drum, replaced the drum guide wheels the belt idler pulley and then the belt and reassembled after inspecting the felt seal it did not need to be replaced.. so I have it for next time.. the dryer runs and sounds like it was brand new.
