Description:

Mower would not move when control operated.

After checking/cleaning all connecting parts, decided to order drive belt connecting engine to front wheel drive pulley. New belt made the 15 year mower new again.

Drive belt worn out, kept jumping off pulley.

1. Removed the belt guard at the blade with a socket wrench.
2. Removed the old belt from the pulleys.
3. Rethreaded the new belt, pushing on the blade assembly to release the tension for the belt.
4. Replaced the belt guard and edged the yard without the belt jumping track.

Lower drive belt wore out.

1. Loosened deck belt guides.
2. Removed deck belt.
3. Removed battery connections.
4. Removed battery.
5. Removed upper drive pulley and belt.
6. Removed lower drive belt.
7. Installed lower drive belt.
8. Installed upper drive pulley and belt.
9. Installed deck belt.
10. Installed battery and connections.
11. Mowed lawn.

Drive belt broke

Drive belt on edger broke. Had to loosen bolt for belt pulley and push pulley to one side to install drive belt due to belt is a very tight fit. Then retighten bolt. All went well and edger worked perfectly as before.
