Question: V-belt For Edger 25B-554 Series

gary1944

The belt the manual recommends is 16" x 3/8" but binds in the pulley and idler so much I can't hardly pull the restart. I would like to install a 16" x 1/2" v-belt do you think it will stay on?
Question: Belts Install

Mtdew81

How many belts total is on yardman 2005 lawn tractor I know drive belt but how many total
WJA
Hello Mtdew81,

There are quite a few Yard Man 2005 Lawn Tractors. You will need to find the model number of yours. Because they all don't use the same belts. Here is a list of the 2005 Yard Man Tractors we have parts diagrams for.
Yard Man 13AN791G755 (2005)
Yard Man 13AT605G755 (2005)
Yard Man 13AT605H755 (2005)
Yard Man 13AU615P755 (2005)
Yard Man 13BT604H755 (2005)
Yard Man 13AJ771G713 (2005)

Most of them use three belts. Hopefully one of these is your model number. You will just need to go through each parts diagram page of your model number and locate the belts. If one of these is not your model number. Post your number and we should be able to locate all the belts you need.

Hello salgangemi,

Unless the manufacture is not showing all the belts used on this edger. I am also having a difficult time trying to figure out how to install the 954-04032B belt. You may want to contact them @ 800-269-6215 and ask them how it is done. Once you have the answer, if you could post it, that would be very helpful to others that are having the same problem.

How does the belt go on?
How does the belt go on? I see 4 pulleys but you only list one belt. Someone borrowed my edger, broke the belt then slipped it back into my garage so I don't know what the configuration was. I see one drive pulley, two idler pulleys and one blade shaft pulley.
