    Drain plug was damaged and would not shut off

    Removed damaged drain valve. Cleaned threads.
    Put anti-seize grease on threads on new drain valve.
    Thread valve into compressor tank and tighten with wrench.

    Drain Tap was Stripped

    Drain air from compressor first. Removed old drain tap with a wrench. Applied plumbers tape around threads on new one and threaded it on compressor and tightened it down with wrench.

    Removed old Drain Tap from compressor with Crescent wrench.
    Wrapped Teflon tape on threads of replacement drain.
    Tightened Drain Tap with wrench, done!

    Would not build up air pressure

    • Removed plastic housing
    • Removed 4 Allen head head bolts
    • Removed gaskets and broken valve assembly
    • Reassembled with new parts
    • Removed & replaced drain
