This is a door gasket, also known as a door seal, designed for a variety of freezers. Its primary function is to maintain the cold air inside the appliance while preventing warmer air from entering. Constructed from high-quality rubber, this gasket measures 0.5 inches in thickness, 35.5 inches in length, and 24 inches in width. Over time, door gaskets can wear out, become susceptible to molding, or warp. To ensure the longevity of your door gasket, practice proper care and maintenance, and avoid overloading your freezer. Replacing a door gasket is a straightforward process that does not require any tools. Simply remove the old gasket carefully from the door frame and slide the new door gasket around the frame, securing it into place.
