This repair was very time consuming so I will try to compress the repair, I have a Weedeater One Lawn tractor. The drive pulley that connects to the engine had split and spun on the crankshaft. The engine had to be removed. This was the reason for all the intensive labor as the mower, belts and a lot of bolts needed to be removed. The pulley is keyed to the crankshaft by a small offset in the pulley. (not a good design). as it is a weak point. When the pulley split it took a chunk of the crankshaft with it leaving only a small amount of metal for the pulley keyway to engage the crankshaft. Rather than take a chance I drilled the crankshaft and pulley with a one quarter inch. drill and installed a hardened bolt to secure the pulley. So far so good. Take a lot of pictures when you disassemble the mower so reinstall is easier.
