Broken depth adjustment part made the tool hard to use. The broken part is also used in the tool safety.

Replacement of the broken part required removal of the nail feeder and the striker guides. Then all case screws were removed. After separating the case halves there were two screws holding the safety switch assembly. Another screw holds this spring- loaded part together. After compressing the spring and removing the stop-screw there is one more screw deep inside the broken part. Removing that hidden screw slows the broken part to be removed and replaced.
