This dado throat plate is an authentic Ryobi item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with table saws. The purpose of this plate is to reduce splintering on the wood cuts. Another benefit of this item is that it will help to prevent thin slices of wood from jamming in between the blade and the plate during a cut. This hard plastic dado throat plate is sold individually. Please note, screws to secure this part are sold separately.
