Black smoke, oil loss, oil dripping on exhaust
Fortunately, found a "How To" step by step instruction site on YouTube. Wrote down and closely followed each step. I'd never done a "head gasket" replacement and was pleasantly surprised with the out-come. A tractor I thought was lost, has now been revived and is purring like a kitten.

Glad you guys were there with all the proper parts I needed!

Counterbalance rod flew into pieces.
After repairs were made, replaced the engine on the frame, started the engine and it ran too fast, and the counterbalance broke again. I found that the governor had moved when I replaced the sump cover. The sump cover had hit the governor and dislocated it. I'm still in the process of attempting to make repairs.

    Some gaskets were incorrect
I ordered head gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, intake gasket and valve cover gasket for specific engine. The valve cover gasket and intake gasket were not correct. Head gasket and manifold gasket worked great.

Quick and easy ordering of needed part
The part was what I needed to make the repair to my lawn tractor. The part was quickly sent and received in good condition. Great way to get needed parts.

    Poorly packaged
Very pleased with service and the ordered part. However, I gave it only 4 stars because the thin gasket was packaged in a large, thin, bubble envelope with no cardboard or other supportive material. My mailman folded the envelope in half to get it in my medium sized mailbox. My gasket was bent severely. I was afraid it had been ruined. I went ahead and used it and thankfully my mower is running well.
