This copper cutter wheel is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in copper tubing cutters. Each pack includes two wheels. The cutter wheel is a circular steel blade with a black oxide finish, specifically designed to slice through copper tubing. It has a sharpened edge and a hole in the middle, which is mounted onto the adjustable spindle. The wheel allows for clean and accurate pipe cuts by clamping the cutter onto the pipe and rotating it until the pipe is severed. Over time and with frequent usage, the copper cutter wheel may become dull, crack, or become dislodged. When the cutter wheel fails, it will result in uneven or rough cuts, damage to the pipe or it may not cut at all. To remove the faulty wheel, you will need to disassemble the cutter head assembly. Remove the old wheel and insert the new wheel in the same orientation. Secure it in place with the appropriate fasteners and reassemble the cutter head assembly.
