Description:

This is a genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually.
The control cable connects to the control handle of the lawn mower.
When the control handle is engaged the mower blade will begin to rotate, when the handle is released the blade will stop.

This part number has the cable covered with a total length of 40 inches & 13 inches of bare cable.
On the part number 946-1137 the cable is completely covered for a length of 53 inches.
Look at you cable before you order so you receive the correct one.

The auto shut off control cable froze over the winter, when trying to loosing it the pull control handle broke.

Removed the bad cable and control handle. Unclipped the plastic molding from the control handle. Clipped the plastic molding on the new handle. Hooked in the new ones on to the lawn mower. No tools needed time about 5 minutes.

Blade control was broken and cable totally stretched. Replaced parts they were an exact fit

Remove blade control handle replace with new. Remove cable from handle at engine end squeeze tabs together to remove. Then install the new ends.

Blade brake release cable broke

Removed and replaced brake cable and release handle.

Throttle cable rusted throught.

Inserted the cable through the throttle plate, then the handle, then attached the cable to the upright bar.

Easily-used older cable controller and moved down the handle, drilled 2 new holes and bolted handle assy to handle!
