I removed the shroud covering the pump assembly. The new part was extremely easy to put on since it is made with a pressure grip fitting. I just pushed it on the end of the tube until it set and that was it. Once it was on the tube, just had to push it back into the assembly area and twist it into the locked position. It took no time at all and the compressor worked fine as it always had.
