Product Information
Description:
This is a Genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually. If the carburetor is leaking fuel it is recommended to replace the Bowl Gasket. Gaskets and O-rings are a common source of problems. They eventually shrink, causing fuel and air leaks that lead to poor engine performance. |

Carburetor leaking gas
Tilted the motor up to have easy access to the carburetor. Pulled out the old gasket with a metal pick. Yeah it was cracked. Carefully inserted the new gasket. Had to stretch the gasket a little bit to get it in tight. The gasket for the mounting bolt didn't really seal up and gas still dripped. Found a rubber o-ring for the bolt and that solved the leak.
