    A very easy repair. Remove the three screws on the rear blade pulley, remove the retaining ring and washer. Pull the pulley off the shaft. Then remove the old sprocket and chain and install new ones. Assemble in reverse order and your done.

    Drive Chain Broke inside drive pulley

    Screwdriver, Needle Nose Plyers

    1. Removed blade pulley cap - three screws, and removed the cracked blade pulley.
    2. Removed broken chain, and cleaned out all lose parts.
    3. Removed clip ring, and the chain sprocket. Pressed out two steel bushings from sprocket.
    4. Pressed in the two steel bushings into the new chain sprocket, and used emery cloth inside the bushings.
    5. Polished steel shaft on the saw, and placed a small amount of gear lube on shaft.
    6. placed a small amount of gear lube on new chain, and replaced new chain sprocket.
    7. Placed new drive pulley, and rotated it until it locked in place.
    8. Placed drive pulley cap with three screws, and tighten.
    9. Put new band blade on saw, and ran the motor for a couple of minutes.
    10. Then onto the next project, and it worked great.

    1. Disassembled drive wheel assembly.
    2. Cleaned parts from grease and metal.
    3. Lubricated the new sprocket and chain.
    4. Positioned chain sprocket and chain on to driveshaft, installed new washer and snap ring.
    5. Secured the drive wheel, and cap, and torqued screws, installed saw blade and tested.
    6. Great OEM parts, bandsaw is back in service.

    Chain broken

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Nutdriver, Snap ring pliers

    1. Removed three screws securing the drive pulley. Need a 25 Torx bit.
    2. Remove drive pulley and cap.
    3. Remove snap ring from end of shaft with snap ring pliers.
    4. Remove plastic washer.
    5. Remove sprocket from drive pulley if still attached. Otherwise, slide sprocket off of shaft.
    6. Removed chain and various debris from the housing.
    7. Installation is reverse of above steps, assuming you can install the chain in its place without
    seeing it or being able to touch it. I have yet to be able to do it.

    Drive wheel slipping, sprocket wore out

    1. Remove center hub on drive wheel (3 #20 Torx screws)
    2. Remove wheel
    3. Remove chain and sprocket
    4. Replace chain and sprocket
    5. Re-Assemble drive wheel
    6. Took approx. 5 mins to complete

    Pully gear teeth worn down and would not engage drive sprocket gear.

    1. Removed blade and outer cover.
    2. Removed worn gear (worn bushings inside gear shaft). Old chain came off with old gear.
    3. Placed new bushings in new gear.
    4. Placed new chain around drive sprocket and placed new gear on shaft.
    5. Turned shaft with fingers and new chain seated on new gear.
    6. Replaced cover and blade.
    Works like new. Best part I got my new parts in 3 days. Unreal!!
