Product Information
Description:
This genuine OEM supplied carburetor is designed for Echo handheld blowers/vacuums. Its primary function is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This is a metal body carburetor with a rubber primer bulb. Please note gaskets are sold separately.

If the engine starts and then quickly dies, replacing carburetor may resolve this issue.

I removed the air filter assembly, removed the fuel lines form the old carb. Then installed them in the same place on the new carb. Installed air filter assembly. Primed it a few times. The blower started on the 3rd pull, and ran like it was new.

My blower would not run except when it was fully choked. However, even on full choke it would only run about 50% rpm's.
To replace the carburetor it was one of the easiest repairs I have ever done. It took me about 10 minutes and my blower is running as good as new.
All I did was remove the air filter. Then two screws, removed the fuel lines, then the old carburetor. Put the new carburetor on with the screws, replaced the fuel lines. And replaced the air filter

Would not run without choke being halfway closed. Would not reach high RPM.
There was obviously a partially clogged passage in he carburetor that I couldn't get cleared. Replacement carburetor was a simple operation. Two screws and the fuel lines. Done and it now runs fine.

  • New carburetor for Echo blower
Blower ran very rough and would never run at full throttle. In less than 15 minutes I installed a new carburetor (A021003661), and it started on the second pull and ran like a new unit. It was an easy repair with the right part.

    Well worth the price
Had issues with echo blower which I tried adjusting carb but couldn’t set it properly. Had issues with starting and full throttle. New carb installed in 5 minutes. Starts right up on 2nd pull every time. No bogging issues at full throttle anymore. Great investment n quicker then trying to readjust old carb.

    Right part;easy fit.
A little skeptical at first replacing a carburetor, but out with the old and in with the new in about half an hour. Saved myself a few bucks by doing it myself, made possible by Replacement Parts and their terrific website. Surprised by the flimsy Echo OEM carb that failed.

This was the widest thing I have seen. The little hand blower was working fine and died. Ok bad gas. changed the gas no good. spark good compression ok. Timing??? Who knows. Got a new carb and it was no good. Must be timing. pulled it down and the key was good put back and now i was getting 50 pound of compression. What happened. Did i swallow a valve. Shot some oil in and pulled it through and with the new carb on it and it fired. You tell me what was wrong. Wally
They are so responsive to the order i left the parts on the bench while the new carb was coming to me.
