Product Information
Description:
This is a genuine part which is supplied directly by the original equipment manufacturer and is used with Tecumseh engines. The carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This part comes with the carburetor assembly, as well as the carburetor gasket. Let the engine cool and drain the gas tank before starting this repair. You may need screw drivers and pliers to aid you in this repair.

Lawn vac would quit after running a few minutes and wouldn't restart. I replaced the carburetor, turned on the fuel and the engine started on the first pull for the first time ever!
1. Shut off the fuel line and disconnected the line from the carb.
2. Removed the air filter, carb governor rod, etc.
3. Replaced the gasket, turned the fuel inlet connector to the right angle.
4. Replaced the governor rod, fuel line, vac line, air cleaner.
5. Trial start. Worked great - started on first pull for the first time. Never did that even when new.
