This is a genuine manufacturer-authorized replacement part which is specially designed for use with Kohler engines commonly installed on lawn and garden equipment. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. Generally, if the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, or if the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This high-quality assembly is sold individually, please note it includes the metal body carburetor and two durable composite material gasket that will help to ensure an air-tight seal between connected pieces.

Quick delivery, part was correct, Engine side gasket not correct
The carburetor was perfect and the power washer started right up after installation. Although the engine-side gasket was not a good fit, I was able to reuse the old one. I will buy again from this company. I'm happy overall.

1. Removed the fuel line and rinsed out the gas tank.
2. Removed the linkage and spring returns, then loosened the carburetor nuts.
3. Carburetor and gaskets came off easily.
4. Installed the new carburetor and gaskets, then the linkage and springs.
5. Filled the tank with fresh gas and primed the motor about 10 times.
6. The engine started on the 4th pull and now starts on the second pull regularly.
7. The new parts were exact replacements for the Kohler engine and all fit perfectly.
8. This was one of the jobs that went as smooth as you could hope for and the motor now runs perfectly!

Removed several bolts, disengaged the linkage, replaced the gaskets, installed the new carb, replaced the filter. Very simple procedure.
