Broken spark plug boot and gummed carb

Pliers, Nutdriver
1. Remove broken spark plug boot by pulling up.
2. Screw new boot on spark plug wire.
3. Place boot on spark plug.
4. Remove air filter.
5. Remove fuel line from carb using needle nose pliers.
6. Remove front two nuts from plastic cover.
7. Remove bolt on rear of plastic cover.
8. Remove cover.
9. Remove carb.
10. Replace carb and gaskets in reverse order.

Pliers, Socket set, Needle nose pliers to disconnect fuel lines
Replacing the carburetor on my pressure washer and parking lot striper was quick and easy. If you’re having problems starting any gas engine, I’d recommend replacing the carburetor. Especially if your equipment sits most of the year like mines. Both starts and run like new now. I wish the carburetor gaskets were included but I was able to reuse the old ones.
