ethanol attracted water to gas & gumed up carb.
Replaced carb & all gaskets plus insulator. Ethanol draws moisture. Had 3 layers in tank. Gas, ethanol, water. Corrosive mixture.
Cleaned tank, hoses , & replace carb, That had seen better days.
