Product Description ?

This genuine OEM sourced replacement part is designed for use with Poulan gas trimmers. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won't start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This carburetor has a metal body and it is sold individually.

To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.

• Remove the air filter cover
• Remove the air filter base
• Remove the throttle cable
• Remove the fuel lines
• Remove the carburetor
• Install the new carburetor
• Reinstall the fuel lines
• Reinstall the throttle cable
• Reinstall the air filter cover

    Easy repair
I replaced the carburetor on my weed eater in no time. I simply removed the two bolts holding it to the frame and removed the three fuel and purge hoses one at a time. I reattached each hose before removing the next. This kept me from mixing them up when reattaching to the new carburetor. After they were all attached, I screwed the two bolts back to the frame, snapped on the filter cover and fired the sucker up. I am very pleased with its performance.
