Product Description ?

This replacement carburetor is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part. It is designed for use with gas trimmers. Carburetor mixes air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. If the engine won\'t start and the tank is full of fresh fuel, test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. This carburetor has a metal body and it includes a rubber primer bulb and a plastic throttle lever.

To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver.

• Remove the air filter cover
• Remove the air filter base
• Remove the throttle cable
• Remove the fuel lines
• Remove the carburetor
• Install the new carburetor
• Reinstall the fuel lines
• Reinstall the throttle cable
• Reinstall the air filter cover

    Perfect repair
My 10 year old hedge trimmer needed a new carburetor. eReplacementParts, my go to place for all my repair parts, had the manual online and the part listing. There were comments that mentioned the carburetor is a different look and orientation than the original one on my hedge trimmer. This is true. However, as promised, it screwed right in and fit perfectly. My hedge trimmer started on the second pull! This is why eReplacementParts is my go to place for parts.

Questions & Answers for Carburetor Assembly

Can you buy a replacement primer bulb without buying the entire carburetor assembly?
Paul for model number GHT220 asked on 2022-11-17
Hello Paul, Thank you for the question. The Primer Bulb is only sold as part of the Carburetor or the Carburetor Repair Kit Part Number: 530069969. It is not sold on its own. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
