Product Information
Description:
This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part used on Makita Rotary Hammers. Includes Two (2) Carbon Brushes with Lead Wires attached. Please note Brush Holders and Springs are Sold Separately. Carbon motor brushes are one of the most commonly replaced power tool components. Because carbon brushes are wear items, meaning that through friction and use they will gradually wear away, they will eventually require replacement. It is recommended to replace both brushes at the same time. You would need a Screwdriver and Pliers to complete this job. |

RIGHT PARTS
Parts were right. Best part was easy to order and boom it was shipped. Tried another company on other stuff. They were much cheaper on an armature that I wanted but I think it might have been after market AND they have me in limbo and cant contact anyone. Sent e-mail, nothing yet. I am sticking with EREPLACEMENTPARTS from now on PERIOD.

Easy repair with slight modification.
One of the brushes was just slightly bigger than the other and was too tight in the housing to have enough pressure to maintain contact with the armature. I simply took a file and shaved it down a little, and the hammer drill is as good as new.
